In considering your application we will search your record at credit reference agency/agencies. These agencies will add to your record details of our search and your application. Other organizations carrying out later searches will be able to get these details as well. Credit scoring or any other automated decision making system will be used to assess your application. It is extremely important that you provide us with accurate and up to date information. We and the other organizations may use and search records for:

Help with decisions related to credit and credit related services, for you and members of your household

Help with decisions on motor, credit, household, life and other insurance proposals and claims for you and members of your household

Manage your accounts or insurance policies, trace debtors, debt recovery, prevent fraud

Check your identity to prevent money laundering, unless you furnish us with satisfactory proof of identity

Records will also be used by credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies for statistical analysis about credit, insurance and fraud

You have a right to receive a copy of the information we hold about you, on payment of a fee when you apply to us in writing.
